Dublin Marathon

I ran with Fintan and we knocked out 14.8kms in 1:01:51 (4:11's). I felt tired but the pace was still quite quick which is good to see.

A lot of chat about the results from the Dublin Marathon that was run today. There were some cracking performances today in very good conditions for marathon running. Seah Hehir ran a blinder clocking 2:17 in his debut for the distance. Maria McCambridge ran a brilliant 2:35 PB after her disappointment of missing out on the Olympics. That should send a clear message to the selectors...

Here are some other great performances from people I know:

Martin Conroy 2:32:15
Roger Barrett 2:32:47
Brian Furey 2:33:06
Rob Staunton 2:34:29
John Byrne 2:37:23 (one week after his 50km!)
Paddy O'Toole 2:41:20

I bet there were a few pints consumed post race...and why not...
