A recovery run. I felt great today and was hardly breathing clipping along at a healthy pace. All up 11.1kms in 43:30 (3:55's). The weather was a good bit cooler today so I think that helped.
I've started taking protein the last couple of weeks. It has definitely made a difference - the legs seem to recover better and feel a lot fresher the next day. I'm taking the whey protein which I mix with milk for a nice milkshake. The chocolate flavour is a little on the sweet side but I have a bit of a sweet tooth so all good. Highly recommended.
