Another threshold session. Felt the opposite of good right from the off and the heart rate was much higher than Monday. Pace was slower as a result and boy was I glad when the 45 minutes was up (total 12.6kms in 44:52 = 3:34/km). All up 16.6kms with the usual 2 up 2 down.

Snooker in the evening. I was ordinary but still managed to fluff a couple of chances for a 50 break. Robertson on the other hand was superb clocking up his 100th century on the way to a 13-11 win over trump. As far as I'm concerned he's the only player who could stop Ronnie but I still can't see it happening. So the semi-final line-up is Selby vs Robertson and O'Sullivan vs Hawkins.
